I&#039;m still recovering from the emotional scars of sleeping under a picture like the one above during my early childhood, except it was the Victorian illustration of two little kids crossing a rickety bridge over a gorge with a gleaming angel hovering over them. The angel scared me to the point of cowering under the covers to escape his-her flaming gaze. Not surprisingly, it never made me any happier or holier. I suspect most evangelical &quot;art,&quot; while less scary, has much the same effect.]]></description>
